Prodigal

In the course of a life laden heavy

With choices, you know, I’d just as soon forget

I’ve lived a gambler’s life on a losing bet

In the merciless grip of the Enemy, trapped as I was,

I broke my chains and took a stand to fight

My Savior heard my cries that night

I wandered in this world and I fell astray

Father, I’ve come back home, this time to stay

Your prodigal child returns, I’m strifed with sin

With your love and forgiveness, I’m bound to win

Against the Enemy

On my path of salvation, I found there were

Others, my brothers, purchased just like me

The fallen are forgiven, is prophecy

Well we praise and we worship through music

And send out a message that there’s another life in sight

So break your chains, stand up and fight

We wandered in this world and we fell astray

Father, we’ve come back home, this time to stay

Your prodigal sons return, we’re strifed with sin

With your love and forgiveness, you know that we’re bound to win

Don’t you know, we’re bound to win

With a little bit of prayer and righteousness you know

Our Savior will not miss us when we call

His plan is for us all to love each other, spread the word

That there’s another life to live that’s right

So break your chains, stand up and fight

You wandered in this world and you fell astray

Well he wants you to come back home, this time to stay

We’re all the prodigals and we flee from sin

With his love and forgiveness, you know that you’re

Bound to win, in His name you’re bound to win

Against the Enemy
