Is a matter Of FAITH trying to reignite the peace movement of the 60s and 70s? Are we looking to start political
activism? So whats this all about? The short answers are: No, maybe and we want people to find the inner peace that we
have, which comes from having a relationship with God.
All of us in the band have friends and family in the armed forces so we
continue to hope and pray for world peace. Some of us in the band remember the peace movement of the 60s and 70s since we grew
up during it. However it was not supportive of our friends and family who served at that time. While we may not always
agree with the political ideas and economic motives that drive world events we love and respect the people that volunteer to serve
our Country. So that is absolutely not our objective!
Do we want to start some political activism? That might be
good if done right. We believe we are all brothers and sisters and as such, responsible for each other. We think everyone
should get involved with some effort that might make this world a better place than it is now for our brothers, sisters, children
and grandchildren. That might mean getting involved politically or just lending your time and/or resources to a solid effort
to fight poverty, lack of education, hunger, disease and environmental issues. Don't forget this might be needed as much in
your own back yard as somewhere across the globe. Below are some links to help get you started, but please find a
cause that speaks to your heart, go out and get involved! But thats not it either.
What we are really trying to get people
to discover and think about is that there is an inner peace that comes from having a personal relationship with GOD. We want
everyone to have the peace that we have in our lives. Does this mean that our lives are all smooth sailing and strife free? Absolutely not! But we know that there is someone who has forgiven us for our sins and loves and accepts us for who we are. We take comfort in knowing that while we walk with HIM we may not know where we are headed, but HE does and HE has a plan for each
