a matter of FAITH has performed at all types of venues for many different types of audiences. We have performed with national touring recording artists and played at festivals, night clubs, bars and churches.

We are a Fort Myers, Florida based band comprised of five members, three of whom are long time friends and bandmates. John Abby, Pete Eckenrode and Pat Flanigan who started playing together back in the 80s. With the addition of singer/songwriter Tim Byrne and more recently drummer Phil Provost we are ready to Rock you.

Our original material is a blend of classic and new/alternative original guitar based rock that is well written and intensely performed. Comparisons have been made to Creed, Third Day, STP, Mercy Me and Pearl Jam. We are a positive message band, yet having a wide demographic appeal manage to cross over to most audiences .

A little bit of the back-story: The original band members, after opening a show headlining Alice Cooper, were offered a contract with a major record label in 1980, but with young families at home, we chose not to take it. The band eventually disbanded and then reformed in 1997 playing covers in bars for fun and as a creative outlet. After a year or so we realized that wasn’t the only reason we were drawn back together. So we started writing and recording our own positive message/Christian based music, eventually releasing two CDs.
